Anyway..my days in DC architect will only be 10 days counting from now..kinda sad...i guess i'm going to miss the ppl in DC..although i'm not close to them...hehe..but still there's something there that i'm going to miss i guess..my mentor, the boss, and the 3 draftwoman..

Though my time is short there..i learn more than i thought and expected.

Lastly..I must thank Mr Neo (hope u can see these..so you noe how good I am.. :P), Mr Wong (my boss actually..heard so much bout u..someone always praise u lo), Ms Pang (a sweet lady sitting next to me..taught me lot bout drafting..plus today i saw she stress out i feel so bad...I think her architect always bully her lo..*wink*), Ms Teo and Ms Agnes (thanks 4 making me feel at home), Mazlan (try dun ask me bout 'bomba' stuff..I'm stil immature) and all the other ppl in the office..

*wink*hope i get into such a good company in my future...i see so many architect stress like hell..but in DC..i feel more relax and more normal,which actually give me more hope to enter into the archi world..b4 entering DC, I already give up on archi life.

Working in an archi firm gives me lot of idea of wat my life would be in future..I guess to want to be an architect is really not easy..If ur good, u probably get an easier life..if ur unlucky ur probably end up worse than a contractor..


Hope things turn out good in future for me..haha...



But seriously..my working days now seems so much relax and fun than in uni!!haha...Been following my mentor around going for site meetings, client presentations, site precision, designing and drafting(the worse part of all..damm boring)



Imagine and daydreaming bout wat i would look like in future..check out my illustration of my imaginations!!haha...

If I success..I might look like that..but the chances are slim..and remember-architects are not meant to be beautiful nor pretty..they are suppose to filled with wrinkles, with stressful face..

But another option is..I end up looking like Pua Chu Kang, walking at site-either scold ppl or get scolded, kick my legs with my bright yellow sexy rubber boots and wears baggy shirts with black pants that will always be stained with mud.

I like those sexy yellow boots..but wearing it sucks big time..cos I will look like a clown in site..grgr....

Everything about Anything

1. Been working in "DC architect dan rakan-rakan" now, everyday from 9am to 5pm except saturday and sunday...Its great cos, I got nice mentor in a stress-free environment. But the bad thing is, the office only got 3 GIRLS and I dun have a fren der yet!!

2. Mummy's birthday a few days ago..dun remember when. WAIT..Its not exactly my fault that I dun remember because, first, I have very bad memory (its worst than the girl in "50 first date"), 2nd I am bad at "DATE". So sorry dear mummy..plus we even got her age WRONG..how embarrasing!!

But its still a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Isn't she happy..even we mistook her age for 49!! (her actual age is #$&)

There..here a really really GREAT but LAME story...First, we were eating, enjoying our food..den I saw this small cockroach crawling at the brim of the miso soup bowl..then like I told yitong (it was quite loud i guess...) "eh, yi tong, got COCKROACH!!!" Then yitong's reaction like damm BESAR lo...she like shouting all over the whole Kinsahi..damm funny..but its the usual yitong..(If yi tong's reaction tak besar means yi tong got HIGH FEVER) Nway, back to story..her reaction BIG until like she pratically stick herself to the tembok beside her..so scared she would js climb up the wall like SPIDERMAN!!
Then like she keep shouting..err..i think we did shout a little..but she scream damm loud lo..but I feel very odd that the waitress din even look at our table till we tell them bout the cockroach..I think the waitress all fake fake wan lo..think we dunno..hia hia hia..

Design Final Crit

This part of the semester is the FINALE for all that have been chosen...

Final crit...it can be a nightmare, it can be a sweet dream..depending on how kind is ur crit panel towards you and your work..

My final crit..goes like this..
It started of great..my crit panel like my work..saying is a good idea and all..till one of the architect starts to "shoot" me..Saying my work is expensive, it should be done it this way and that way...critisizing throughout the whole crit..things got worse when the other 2 crit panels agree to wat she say...the both change "side" and shoot me..

wah..I like kena shoot till 'kau-kau'...so kelian..wanted to cry but din dare..cos all crit panels are architects..feel so childish to cry in front of them....

But all its over now..muahahahha...

After crit..all of us got so crazy and started cam whoring..fooling around in the gallery.."luckily din get caught by Ms. Ros and Uncle A.

Free at last...Gau tim all my final submission...esp DESIGN...but was happy contented and satisfied..After all the hard work..was chosen to be the top 24 in class to present my work to external panels (they are REAL practising architects actually)..So stil have to upgrade some of the work..but most importantly is I'm working in a STRESS-FREE condition now!!

YEAH!!!!

Now just hanging around in my house..nothing to do..try to kacau ppl on my MSN list..Hoping they wil reply me..for i negleted them long enough for them to forget bout me..hehe..I dun blame them for that..js jk...I'm just too bored now anyway..Miss home so much..but stil cannot 'balik kampung' yet...cos must wait for final presentation...portfolio n stuff!!

Been trying to clear my work into folders..cos all my files are scattered at my desktop screen...damm irritating...

So MESSY!!!urgghh....

But at the same time browsing through all my work..And i thought..all those hardwork..stress..panic..sleeples nights..are all so worthy..

Almost Fail DESIGN

Got my results today..but it wasnt really going that well..got C for both "touchstone" and "Dance Centre"

Shock & dunno wat to do bout my result..felt so stunned!!

Suddenly i felt all my emotions gone haywired!!haha....

So have to work harder from now on..no ugly betty, no heroes and no prison break!! *I doubt I can do that*

Anyway, my whole class din get really good results either..out of 60 ppl in my class, 27 fail design, others got average marks of C and another 3 got B for design... *FuNnY*

Centre for Dance and Movement

At last..I have finished my model and drawings!! arggghh....feel so relieve now..

Can see those eye bags??the messy hair..the tired face..OMG..no man will ever wan me..I wil end up being a old maid next time(too hagard and old at the age of 20)

This project was really fast track..(I think I made it fast track..cos been very lazy earlier..)

Been lazying around watching "UGLY BETTY" for a week..Anyway, ugly betty is really really nice..though she don't have the "pamela anderson" body, Gisselle's look but she got the BRAIN and the COURAGE to handle all the stuff!! Betty Suarez..u rock the world!!

She look like she comes from the sixties!!haha...

Performing art centre is the most interesting building to design..there's so much poetic in it..How u can see a person dancing in your design..how ur spaces seems to be speaking to you and me..shouting out for the world..and how the whole design seems to be dancing!!

AWWWW.....I just love performing arts..love ballet, love it!! I'm so into ballet but never had the chance to really do ballet..the closest thing I ever did to ballet was gymnastic!! How sad...sob..sob...

Back to topic...side tracked too much..
Everything done within 1 week..no more , no less!! WOO...

This is the result of last minute work..

3 days on plan, 1 day on sections, 1 day on elevations and 21 hours on model (21 hours in 1 go!!)

Drop dead for 2 hours in class..listening to Ms. R talking..on and on and on!!

Design can be really tough!!OMG..I'm going to do designing my whole life!! Love designing but hate the stress and DATE-LINES..

Oh ya, my nails look so ugly now!!I dun have pretty manicured hands anymore..Thanks to the "resin" that I used when doing the stupid tree for my model!! All the flowers gone d..nails peeling..dry skin..poor hands..

Now my nails look so UGGLLIEE....

xxs versus XXL

We had this project on the touchstone..I did post something bout my touchstone..

Check out one of my friend's touchstone..Its really kinda interesting..
Think more YELLOW and sidetrack a little..then u may see wat I see..Actually, I din realise that until my frens all started laughing and all..which also includes the owner of this fine and interesting model!!

Anyway, the one with the black bottom and white head represent the size of a XXL *tut* and the funny looking purple pen represents the xxs of the *tut*. (I dunno whose pen was that anyway, poor pen!!Tiba-tiba got involved)

That was just one of the funny models..haha..sorry..cant help it..I dun mean to laugh or anything..

There's another freak model which one of the guy in my class did (can't show any pictures..cos the guy would probably kill me for that)

Js description..it goes like..the mold a breast using plaster of paris..(real big boobs!!) The boobs got a black-lace-lace-D-cup bra on it..Plus, it had some kind of steel wire fountain coming out from both nipples..i dunno was that for either.Its kinda gross but I heard that he got his reasons for doing that..Its kinda weird..Are all guys like that??freak man!!

Anyway, his concept was "la-temptation"..But I think "la-freaky" is more like it..or maybe "la-gross"

Touchstone!!

Assignment 1 for Design class...

It was only a 10% worth of assigment but its really "kong-out" my brain!

Me..in my kong-out brain!!

I'm suppose to create a very very abstract sculpture based on what I analysed using my "5 senses" on site..Sounds easy huh!! but damm hard wei...Nerve breaking and brain "kong-ing"!!

It took me a super long time to think of my concept..I dunno izzit because i'm not so emotional or because I dun feel anything towards my site o I'm js pure donkey!!haha..but I really used 3 to 4 days just to think of how to create my sculpture, my concept!!

I even call off my shopping spree with ally which I regretted it badly!!I really wan to go shopping!!(Ally is shopping with all the cash she have and she broke!!)

I WAN TO GO SHOPPING!!

Anyway, at last I manage to get my concept..but my model stil sucks BIG TIME..

First i tried to use aluminium sheet to form the sculpture but it turns out super UUGIILEE!!

I was so frustrated and cried to sleep..Soon tarh was like "aiyo..dun cry la..wat to cry..dun cry d k??"

But I still cry la..as usual!!haha

I was almost giving up and going to submit that piece of "SHIT" on Tuesday!! Thanks GOD Moon came in and scold some senses into my "working-less" brain..She saved my life...

She's the MOON

More commonly known as MOON ..but her real name is CHIN YIT YOON (In chinese character, YIT = moon and YOON = cloud)

Interesting name she have...She turn 22 today, not a girl and not yet a lady!! Stil as GANAS as ever, stil as BOYYISH as ever..

Her presents seems to be much more pricey and also CLASSIER than any of my possesions!!

We gave her a RM200 MNG rugged-brown-officey-jacket, which she can not only use it in ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND but also for every third week of the month in DESIGN class where we have to go to class in office wear ( Miss Rosalind set that $%^*^%$ rule..she says it help to train us to be more "MARKETABLE" when we graduate..hope it really work out that way Ma'am)

So in return we got a dinner treat at BBQ Plaza..haha..which cost her RM170..so she stil earn RM30..hahaha..My maths and calculation improved ever since I am and was "MOON"s housemate!!

Laziness, my virtue??

I have been in kl for almost a week..been spending most of my time with Soon Tarh and my maple(its a online games for small kids..I guess I'm getting more and more immature as I grow elder...arggg...)

Anyway, I'm been really really free...SUPER FREE..

BUT..I din manage to do anything useful or beneficial (but i did cook barley for myself..hehe.suppopse to give some to Adol but he din came to take..Not my fault) ..except some time-wasting stuff which includes walking up and down in my house, play some kiddie games, speak nothing but uttering rubbish all day long with my baby, sleep..

Sorry but i'm seriously so LAZY LAZY LAZY to BLOG!!

Dance Workout

Lately I bought this dance workout CD which I thougt would help me to lose a little weight..hope it works gua!!

My mom was laughin at me while I did my workout..she keep on saying, "aiyo, ger..u very funny la..good good..do more exercise den only the tummy will no more ma..eh u cannot lazy wan leh, do exercise must consistence and everyday..u dun do a few days den no more liao..den will waste my 20 dollar"

How can my mom be so calculative over that 20dollar..n must she keep laughin at me...GRRR...

plus i'm trying to get rid of my tummy..so as my mummy she must be supportive ma...where got like that punya mummy wan..laugh at her own daughter..so UNSUPPORTIVE

I dance through that DVD for more that 1 hour leh..not bad 4 a start huh!!

So this year I celebrate my new year in my parents hometown in Pulau Pangkor with my families....Land of treasures.

Me and my family, my auntie's family and uncle family..Basically every one from the "LOW" family came back to Pangkor for the first time..A very big family gathering..

We partied at the beach the whole day..I just love Pangkor..
