Spammed??? Raped???

I just felt that my blog was being brutally raped by the 'other' author..It was kinda dumb, as I did not think hard enough and long enough before allowing Dr-to-be-SAM MARSHALL to help me write my blog..

Dear readers,
The initial idea was to blog about my recent trip in Lanzarote. I had enjoy a long weekend with beautiful cool crystal clear sea with warm sun, fine sandy beach with great company and lovely food which I personally would very much like to share with you guys. A four days trip pack with loads of exploring of volcatnic caves and lazying along those sandy beaches. However, I got caught up tonight helping a friend with some proof reading work and wasn't able to blog those in detail (I'm gonna blog it soon before I leave with Yen to Prague and Vienna). Sorry!!

So my dear darling Sam Mashall offered to blog that for me..unfortunately he decided that it would be pretty awesome to write something else. So somehow I felt like my blog was boasting about her 'owner' PROFUSELY (can't find the right word to put it..sounds a lil weird there)

Damm..now my blog has another author..I need to find a much 'cooler' way to sign off than Sam...

Love (like my sign off?? Don't you think is pretty sweet and sexy??),
Shirlyn

Shirlyn is Very Pretty.

Shirlyn is too busy to blog today, so I thought I'd help out. Unfortunately, I don't have much emotional baggage to unload, so I'll just restate how pretty I think Miss Low is.

Peace out!
Sam

Sick Leave Day

There is no nicer way to describe my current condition, so bear with me in this post entry...

Have not been able to poop for a few days now, so basically my body is filled with poop!! *told ya, its not gonna be a pleasant topic to discuss, but I'm gonna do it anyway..feel free to hop off my blog while you can..before I continue to describe how disgustingly awesome my lil poopy had done to me*

It's just defying me..I love FOOD to much to stop eating, in order to reduce the quantity of poop in my stomach..but no, I'm gonna continuosly stuff my face with pies..made smoke mackerel pie & steak and ale pie for the weekend..

Anyway, due to my greed for food and more good food..I had to skip work...swallow some laxative and get these harmful poop out of me..These few days 'they' had given me a really difficult weekend, feeling bloated all the time..arghhh...hate them making me feel like I've gain 10 pounds..

Hope I get better tomorrow!!

Lilies and Dinner

Coming back after a long day from work, coffee and morning interview, its always nice to see someone you love waving and smiling cheek to cheek by the road waiting to hug you that very instance. What more to ask when he surprise you with your favorite flowers. Honestly I always had  this very negative perspective of boyfriend giving roses for valentine are really really lame and unimaginative..(You can't really expect a girl to sleep with you with just a bunch of roses..seriously, it would never work out!!) However, when someone comes along and bring you your favorite flowers, which you did not mentioned to him on purposed..perhaps did talk about it a lil before the dating thing started..that is pretty SWANKY !!

I'm impressed Dr-to-be Sam Marshall..*You stalk my blog..so you'll gonna read this post anyway*

Adding to that, we had a nice dinner in a up-classed cocktail bar/ restaurant at Quod. It wasn't really a good dinner to start as we aren't greeted by the waitress who was standing by the door not even bothered to say 'hi' or something. Then came along a really hot waitress who apparently had similar first name as Dr-to-be Sam Marshall. The first thing I pointed out was 'hey darling ..look apparently there is a waitress who will be serving us and she's really pretty!!' And as usual Sam would go, 'maybe we should invite her for a threesome..give her your phone number..wink at her (which I can never wink, blame my parents..genetic problem!!)'. Soon dinner with him is the usual jokes, laughter, lil peck on the cheek and of course stalking the hot waitress every time she walk past us!!

Lovely dinner and lilies did help me ease my worries about the riot that is happening in Birmingham (be safe Eric and others who are there) and London. Even Oxford which is ever seeming so safe starting to have helicopter swirling in the air and police patrolling all the streets..It kinda feels like we're in some kind of safety crisis here..Be safe everyone..

Rectification of Opinion

A follow up from the previous blog log from yesterday....

"Third, being an Asian makes it worse. Not that I despise my skin colour..just stating the obvious fact that its harder for asian to snag a good job in the UK than most of the 'white'. This might sound really cruel and racist..but it is the fact nobody really wanna talk about."

This part from yesterday log caught my love's (who isn't very pleased) attention..We debated about it for quite sometime and maybe I was a lil too racist about it..Probably it is more of the fact that I'm a Malaysian (a foreigner) who is trying to make it work in another country. It made me thought about how those Bangladesh/ Indonesian worker were treated back in my home country. Its kinda sad..I know how it feels to be in that very situation where all you want is to just make it work for once!!

Ps: There is still a small part of me does get annoyed by a handful of people out there who just hated Asian to the core..*in fact, I have really met some quite some time ago...maybe not in England*. Everybody should be treated equally. Fair share based on your skills, ability, knowledge and sensibility.

Career dilemma

Sometimes I wonder, am I mature enough to make great decisiom and changes to my life?? Am I being overly protected by the people around me that I become vulnerable when I slowly have to leave their constant hold of hand and walk alone..

Even after so many years of studies in the field of architecture,it would be natural that I would end up doing my apprenticeship towards getting my charteredship in architecture..First,not only that I am not even close to getting an aprenticeship as I am currently working as a CAD technician analysing lighting issues..Secondly, I honestly ain't sure if a job as an architect fits me well..somehow I see architecture very differently from most of my archi mates..I am in fact pretty ashamed to admit that I don't go all in for "awww..this is such a beautiful piece of architecture..look at the intricate column & bla bla bla..". Most of the time I look at the people around it, what will they be thinking? Do they understand that art or is it just a building! Do they enjoy living in it? Not only do I not fully apreciate the building, neither would I understand the point of it..Third, being an asian makes it worse. Not that I despise my skin colour..just stating the obvious fact that its harder for asian to snag a good job in the UK than most of the 'white'. This might sound really cruel and racist..but it is the fact nobody really wanna talk about (sorry Sam,if you somehow read this..i don't hate English btw..I love you!!). .

So I wonder, will I enjoy being one?? Will I ever suceed in my career? What do I really want to be?? I'm not sure what step should I really be taking while every single day seems to wilt away slowly..i do wonder sometimes what I would be if I hadn't step into this field of studies..will I be a different person then? Hmmm..I really do wonder!!

I hope something good would turn up soon..God I pray to you..

CLEAN commotion

Earlier there was this fuss about "BERSIH" which if translated in English means CLEAN. Honestly at first it struck me as a commotion about useless stuff that Malaysia is well known of and I really can't be bothered to check it out..I'm not exactly the best person to be blogging about politics. As I don't really have interest on that topic. I rather spend my time reading some no-name guy writing about his weird perspective of life than spending an hour listening to the news.

Coming back to the topic (I'm swaying away from what I'm suppose to be blogging about..as usual)..so this commotion about the BERSIH rally had became a big hit in my home country...Not only people in the country itself but some to other Malaysians in London, New York, Australia and bla bla bla (can't remember all the country where the scattered Malaysian had taken part in this rally). Almost everyone on my facebook list (which are mostly Malaysian, and some other people from some other places) had the BERSIH badge pasted sharp and yellow on their profile picture...So I decided, I must check it out..especially people around me started to write how we should support this rally and its a turning point for Malaysia..its time we speak for ourself as the citizen of the country and so many other political issues involve..

In fact, I did not still really took notice of this issue till after the rally itself where there were videos (click on the video above and you'll get what I meant by abused!!) of people who took part in the rally were beaten by the police who were there to control the situation. I was kinda shock the way people were treated by the justice upholder of the country. I never really see it coming..I mean, since Malaysia is a democratic country, I believe we have the right for free speech. Adding that this concern our country's society as a whole. Noted that, this rally was held to submit a memorandum to the king requesting for a more transparent and cleaner government, elections, and other political issues that are involved (this includes no bribery, equality, scandals and money laundering schemes among the higher authorities). Dumbfounded!!

While watching some of the clips posted on you tube, a line from V-for-Vendetta struck me, 'the government should be afraid of the people and not the other way round'. That is the line that our government should really be looking at. I was deeply hurt to the point that tears started welling up around my eyes while watching those clips of people being kicked, slapped and thrown on the ground by the police during the rally. It was suppose to be a peaceful rally but ended up so badly that so many citizens of Malaysia were hurt. In Malaysia, its always been the case where many of us kept quiet without questioning the government, supporting them always hoping they would bring wealth, unity and peacefulness to the people and the society. However, looking at what they had done to their people when all they asked for is a peaceful rally in hope for a more fair, justified and cleaner politic where every single citizen has the right and place in the country.

For those who attended the rally, I'm really truly proud of you..You guys had done a great job. I express my stand here in the country of supporting for a cleaner and transparent government in which every single citizen are equal. I'm sorry for those who are hurt badly during the rally. I hope you guys get well soon. All the best in fighting for the true right as a citizen and what's best for the country as a whole.
